Lasting Finish Pink Blush

Rimmel Lasting Finish 'Pink Blush' - £4.99
In my quest to wear lipstick on a daily basis I've found some oldies that I forgot I ever bought that were discarded in the back of my drawer so here we have a rediscovered 'Pink Blush' by Rimmel. I'm one of those people that seem to see photographs of you guys wearing an array of different coloured lip products and suited them incredibly especially baby pinks but whenever I come round to wearing them I always shy away (hence this being thrown into the shadows behind all the safe neutrals) If you've seen my recent 'July Favourites' post then you will have seen that I've fallen in love with all things pastel especially polishes so as you can see in the photo above, I have succumbed to pink (a colour I used to grimace at) and what a perfect match for Pink Blush, they are literally identical. So anways the lipstick itself right? Well its highly pigmented with an instant hit of colour that leaves an ultra smooth finish that leaves you constantly rubbing your lips together. Admittedly it does have a decent(ish) lasting power which I guess you'd expect with a name such as 'Lasting Finish' but does need a quick pick me up throughout the course of the day which I don't mind so much because I've noticed that when you leave it to do its own thing it does begin to dry out quite badly....keep some vaseline with you to apply on top when the colour has faded for a natural pink toned glossy lip. All in all I think this is going to be a Summer time keeper and I'll sport the Barbie pink a little more often than not.
