'Depth' Lipstick  |     Topshop
Now I do love a statement lip but my first impression of this was maybe it was a little too much, even for me but then it grew on me just like the red lip did. Although it is an extremely dark purple shade it has this sheer aspect to it which enhances the natural pink tone in your lip to come through especially as it fades a little which gives it a completely different look from the initial application.
Definitely not a colour for the day time in my opinion but perfect burgundy shade for vamping up any little black dress and giving an outfit a little bit of an edge. Just like every other TopShop lipstick it comes in the white bullet with a black linear pattern around the base, the texture of the lipstick is super creamy and moisturising as always but the only downside with this shade is that if you are wanting to achieve the look you get when first applied then you will find it fades quickly and needs touching up throughout the night especially after eating and drinking.
At only £8 for a lipstick I think TopShop is definitely a place that I rely on when it comes to trying to new colours as I know I'm going to get a decent lipstick and it isn't exactly breaking the bank like high end brands.
