LimeCrime Suedeberry Velvetines

Lime Crime // Suedeberry

Velvetines are a super matte lip product that starts as what I can only describe as a brightly coloured liquid. My first attempt at applying this was a complete failure, I ended up with it all over my teeth,  smudged around my mouth and even spilt it  as I'd got far to much on the wand.

After a little practice, I'd mastered the art of getting a small amount at a time and slowly building up the colour whilst trying to keep the edges clean. When its first applied, it resembles a gloss as its super wet but it soon dries to an incredibly matte finish then believe me it doesn't budge, even when you come to wanting it off your lips it won't easily leave. I always end up with a red tinted face around my mouth from where I have rubbed away at it with a face wipe and even then the next morning I tend to have a faint red tint to my lips.

Just a word of warning, if you're getting ready to go out and have a velvetine as an 'option' for your lip choice then be sure to try all of the other products first as once you've committed, you've committed for the night. - All of this sounds negative but you'll be thankful once you're out and not having to worry about faded lips all night.
