Wedding | Guest Attire

With not one but two weddings on the horizon I'm attempting to plan ahead and get my outfits organised, I'm using this as the only time to be a proper girly girl and push aside my chunky black boots and ripped skinny jeans in favour of embracing the 'pretty' and here are just a few things that I've found along the way, I have to admit I've been a little drawn to the nudes and blue hues and a little bit of a lace overhaul.
1  |  Daisy Airtex Dress | Topshop
The key focus of Topshop's Spring shoot, this dress is killer. Topshop is known for it's dresses but never really did I think that I'd be able to fall in love with a 'fancy' dress from there. With a crochet waistline and lower detailing, it has this stunning transparency to the dress to break up the heavy floral patterning but with a twist, the twist being the use of mesh as it really stands against traditional fabrics for such a dainty dress.

2  | Sleeveless Lace Dress  |  Rosa Novias
Rose Novias and Sherry London is packed full with Wedding, Guest, Cocktail & Evening dresses from the long and elegant to the short and sweet. The added bonus here though is the option to customise and alter your dress to order. Love the style but not the colour? Not to worry as they offer an endless list of colour options as well as the ever so useful bonus of custom measurements meaning your dress can fit like an absolute dream. This super pretty number caught my eye for it's on trend strappy halter neck and delicate lace detailing around the clinched waist, the rest of the dress is free flowing making it the ultimate dancing dress for twirling around. As lovely as this nude shade is, I could imagine it being incredible striking in a deep burgundy.

3  |  Palm Print Organza Skirt  |  Whistles
I am OBSESSED with everything from Whistles at the moment, it's such a shame that their price tags make me want to cry a little on the inside. This super pretty, pale grey skirt covered in a subtle palm tree print is a classic floaty number that oozes sophistication. I'd team it with a cropped white top that also had a subtle detail such as lace or to add a little edge maybe mesh and throw on a pair of stiletto heels to finish it off.

4  |  Blush Lace Bandeau Jumpsuit |  Next
Jumpsuits are such a perfect guest piece of clothing, they aren't too casual to feel under dressed but not over powering for an outfit to be worn all day. This beautiful lace number from Next (the queen brand of classic wedding wear in my opinion) it is complete with a tonne of lace and a simple little belt around the waist just to clinch you in as jumpsuits can some times drown smaller frames. It's all over nude colour and continuous lace pattern means that you could jazz it up with a statement necklace or earrings whilst keeping your essentials in an oversized clutch.

5  |  Salon Premium Placed Lace & Applique Dress  |  ASOS
An organza underlay skirt is an instantly girly addition to any dress, it gives the skirt a huge boost and makes your waist look teeny tiny as it puffs out around you. I absolutely love the layering with this dress, the under fabric being a stunning baby blue with an overlay of lace and finished with this striking green appliqué floral design. The addition of a sheer mesh panel at the base adds a little edge to the prom style dress.
