Chatsworth | House Style Exhibition

Chatsworth House
25 March 201722 October 2017

As a self-confessed Chatsworth addict, I knew that their current exhibition showcasing five centuries of fashion and adornment would tick all the boxes for me. Whenever Chatsworth host an exhibition I love how they transform the house through opening new passageways whilst utilising popular spaces to engage the viewers and ultimately draw attention to not only the piece in question but its location and presence. I won’t spoil it too much by going into details about the garments but what I will say is that it is unmissable if you’re a fan of fashion or simply the history of Chatsworth and the people that made the estate what it is today.

With the main sponsor being Gucci, the exhibition itself has been curated by the International Editor of American Vogue, Hamish Bowles along with the creative direction of both Patrick Kinmonth and Antonio Monfreda and it is truly conducted in a way that at times leaves you speechless - you'll know exactly what I mean when you walk into the Chapel. With only a matter of weeks remaining of the exhibition prior to their Christmas launch, you can explore the house as well as the current sculptures located all over the grounds and really make a day of it.

Congrats Chatsworth on another amazing I'll let the photos do the talking.
